CABINETRY DESIGN || inspiration for custom paint finishes & cabinetry design

Matt and I are working on a large custom cabinetry project.  The clients are so sweet, the two designers we are working with are equally sweet,  and their new home is going to be beautiful.  Up until now, my time has been spent doing CAD drawings on the computer, and a lot of emails, now we are getting into custom paint finish/wood type/style specifics; the fun stuff!  Work has been busy (not much time for my own projects:-) so I thought I would show a few inspiration photos for the cabinetry paint finish and style.

There will be different paint finishes and cabinetry styles through out the home.  The goal is for the cabinetry to look collected over time, yet flow perfectly.  We are going to be using some reclaimed wood, and at this point our paint samples have all been Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint samples.  I will be sure to show some of the finishes we came up with for samples!  So fun!!

A MASTER BATH

I am working with some clients who just purchased a second home.  The home is in really great shape.  It's simple, but really clean.  They will be decorating the home with extra furniture pieces they already own. But, they wanted some help decorating their new master bathroom {and bedroom}.  They don't have anything for those two rooms so we get to start from scratch!

 I thought I would share the fun sample board that serves as our 'road map' for the bathroom.

We are going with white walls, and the floors are already white tile, the bathroom will feel light and bright.  Which is good because it is really small!

BATHROOM INSPIRATION

I am working on a floor plan for some local clients.  They are a sweet couple with two equally sweet children, and they live in a darling old house, just a few blocks from us.  They are looking to remodel one of their bathrooms, and I thought I would share some of the photos I used for inspiration.

The house is an old Craftsman.  The owner loved the idea of an apron/farm style sink.

I don't blame her, I love the idea as well!

We also decided to go with a clawfoot tub/shower combo instead of a walk-in tiled shower.

Flooring and wall covering will most likely be determined by the budget.

And we can't forget light fixtures!

I love my job!
